This beautiful structure once housed the New Orleans Police Department's horse stables. Recently purchased by area developers, the building is currently undergoing a complete restoration. The building sits at the corner of Poland Ave. and North Rampart St. in the Bywater, fronting the newly-renovated Stallings Playground, within four blocks of the Poland Avenue Cruise Terminal, which is scheduled to open in 2017, and will service many of the one million cruise ship passengers traveling from the city each year.

The 19th century building features exposed brick walls, high ceilings with open rafters, vintage “artist-quality” graffiti on several interior walls and large barn doors that open onto a 1,500 sf courtyard with a removable covering that faces the park. Inclusive of the courtyard, the building features over 3,700 sf of usable space.
