The house is located on property Morris Wolf acquired from Senison Stocking in 1878. Morris sold the property with all improvements to Aaron Schlesinger in 1903. The home was used as residence until 1954 when the daughter of Schlesinger sold the property which was then traded to Eloise Burnett. She converted the house into three apartments. The home was abandon for many years until the recent owners acquired the property in 1990 and restored the home that would become the well established, income producing enterprise known as The St Francisville Inn.
