Building Details:

Parkway is located in Bethel, ME.

The Bethel Station is a unique, fully completed site development originally designed in 1994 by a visionary team of Maine businessman and woman planning for a proposed passenger rail service between Boston, Portland and Montreal Canada. At the time, nearby Sunday River Ski resort was beginning its expansion to a 4-season recreational destination and the nearby Bethel Village was prospering due to its location in the desirable mountain region of western Maine.

Construction was completed on a Class A 14,000 SF multi-use building, that included a four-screen cinema. This building is included in the sale or can be purchased separately (see #28751139). Also completed at the time was a paved 2.4 acre parking area (Lot D), a train station and 400' RR platform (sold to the MeDOT and currently occupied by the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce). An additional 3-bay garage is located on Lot I (7 acres) and can be subdivided.

The site is a completed development with contemporary streetlights, granite curbing with curb cuts for bus and on-street parking, public sewer, water and a complete stormwater management system in place. Original estimates of costs to develop are in excess of $10 million. Costs in todays dollars might exceed twice that.

The development is ready for investment. The passenger rail service to Montreal is back on the table. Retail, office, education and health care interests have inquired as to locating here. All yours for $1.75 million.
